Description of reference object

Development of certification tests as well as the use of Enlight TestStation for online test taking. EPiServer Certified Developer is a certification program for EpiServer developers and the program has been developed to document the competence of developers within EPiServer CMS. EPiServer uses a comprehensive test that measures the most important areas within EPiServer CMS. For the purpose of increasing security around the test’s content, two parallel test-sets have been developed. Since the start of the certification program, Enlight has functioned as EpiServer’s supplier of test consultation services and test systems. Within the test consultation area, Enlight has, in cooperation with EpiServer, been responsible for the development of measurement documentation and also carried out reviews and validations. Enlight has also carried out workshops within different test-related subjects as well as education in test systems. EPiServer uses Enlight’s online platform for test taking.

Scope and time for implementation

The development of the measurement documentation was carried out in 2003 and the first version of the certification test was developed in 2004. A major validation and expansion project was carried out in 2006. In 2007 updating and validation work with the tests was initiated, which is expected to be concluded during the first quarter of 2008.
