
Description of reference object
Development of tests for banking advisors. The work consisted of, together
with the customer, identifying how tests could be formulated to be in accordance
with business objectives, increased profitability and the satisfied customer
index and how you want the work carried out at the bank. After that, subject
matter experts were trained at Swedbank in question formulation in order to,
with support from Enlight, formulate questions for the diagnostic and
examination tests. All tests underwent a trial wherein a pilot program was
tested before the tests were actually implemented for real. Enlight worked in
close cooperation with Swedbank to transfer the various steps in the test
development process as optimally as possible.
Scope and time for implementation
The work was started in January 2007. The pilot was carried out in May and
June and the first actual tests were carried out in September 2007. Maintenance
and updating of the tests is an ongoing task.
Contributed customer value
Swedbank works with competence development but wanted to make the training
process more efficient and make the competence requirements more visible. With
the help of well defined goals, diagnostic tests could be used to maximize the
effects of the training in order to later ensure that the employee has the
competence that is required. For employees, it became clearer what was expected
of them and the information from the diagnostic tests clearly illustrated
possible knowledge gaps. Ongoing work with Enlight contributes resources within
test development that is helping Swedbank to ensure high quality in its
competence development processes.
