announced the signing of a Letter
of Intent with the German company datango
AG, for a transaction whereby datango will acquire all of Enlight’s
Knowledge and Performance Solution (KPS) business operations. This transaction
was originally planned
to be completed March 31. The process
has taken a bit longer, but
is soon to be completed.
At Enlight we are convinced that this major transaction will
serve the interests of all of our customers and partners, as well as
our shareholders and employees.

ECDL solutions for over 10 years
Last year the Swedish Computer Society celebrated the 10th
anniversary of the ECDL certification program. ECDL was launched in
August 1996 and Enlight has provided the certification solution for
ECDL in Sweden from the very beginning. Since then, the Enlight
online certification solution has been introduced in many countries.
It’s today used on national level in 15 countries and has users in
global projects in over 70 countries. |

KPS RELEASE 
New ECDL and e-citizen Test Development
Enlight is pleased to announce that development work has now
started on producing the following new versions of ECDL
Certification and Diagnostic tests in English and German
language;
• Windows Vista • Office 2007 (Word, Excel, Access
& PowerPoint) • Internet Explorer 7/Outlook 2007
In addition, an e-citizen Diagnostic test of 50 questions is
being developed to complement the existing Familiarisation
tests.
Subject to ECDL Foundation approval, these tests will be
available in September 2007.

UNHCR
uses Enlight’s Certification Solution to improve employees’ IT
skills
In the summer 2006 a pilot
project started in the United Nations High Commissioner for
Refugees, UNHCR’s Geneva and Pristina offices. 83 employees
participated in the ECDL certification program with the objective to
improve the general level of employees’ IT skills in order to
increase efficient use of IT applications. UNHCR also wanted to be
able to offer employees an internationally known certification.
