Enlight TestStudioTM
For professional test development
Developing professional assessments is a process with several critical steps, from the design of the test and creation of the blue-print, via item and content authoring, through try-outs and publishing, to maintenance and revision. The Enlight tools support all steps in the development of professional assessments, allowing a new level of quality and efficiency in the test development process.
Enlight Test Studio offers rapid and effective item authoring
The item authoring tools allow rapid and effective authoring of items. A large number of item types are available, including the unique Enlight Performer items. All items may be assigned different cognitive levels and the author may assign each item difficulty levels.
The tools allow sharing of blue-prints between developers, providing control
of the items created. All developers may access the same bank of tests, or work
independently. Each published test is assigned a unique version number, allowing
version management and reducing the risk of incorrect tests being developed.
A large number of different test properties
Developers can define a multitude of different test properties, such as cut-off scores, maximum time used by the candidate, type of test, presentation of results, randomisation of item ordering, and allowing changing answers already submitted.
Enlight Test Studio allows developers to instantly publish the tests to
try-out groups, allowing global try-outs in days instead of months. All item
results are collected instantly and automatically, drastically reducing the time
and cost needed for validation and maintenance. Since all item results are
stored centrally, analysis of item results can be made at any time. The solution
supports using professional statistical packages for e.g. classical or IRT
analysis.
Increased security and parallel tests
The security of test delivery is inherently increased by
the automated marking, the reduced number of people involved in test distribution, and the elimination of results administration. Further, the tools support development and delivery of parallel tests, reducing the risk of candidates taking the same test when taking an examination multiple times. The tools allow building modular certifications, with multiple different optional certification paths.
